Woman Grateful for India Attack Charges
A woman whose daughter and husband were killed in Mumbai terrorist attacks says she is grateful for charges against a Chicago man. Forty-eight-year-old David Coleman Headley is accused of conducting extensive surveillance on potential terrorist attack targets, the eventual bombings of which left 166 people dead.
Among the victims were Kai Scherr’s thirteen-year-old daughter, Naomi, and her husband, Alan Scherr. Scherr’s husband had gone to Mumbai in order to look at possible locations for a meditation retreat.
