Two Drivers Arrested After Border Shootout

San Diego police arrested two of the drivers that recently tried to race three vans packed with illegal immigrants through the largest border crossing in the country. Immigration agents fired across nine lanes of traffic to stop the vans, hitting three people and critically injuring one of them. A fourth person was injured when one of the vans smashed into a truck.

Two of the drivers remain unidentified, though in custody, along with seventy-four people that were inside the three vans. One of the drivers was shot and wounded during the crossing, along with a forty-two year old male occupant. The driver whose truck was hit during the accident also complained of pain and was treated at a hospital.
