One of the six remaining defendants in the stabbing death of an immigrant from Ecuador recently pleaded guilty to gang assault as a hate crime. Jose Pacheco agreed on Wednesday to testify against the other defendants in the case. Dry-cleaning worker Marcelo Lucero was stabbed to death in November of last year.
