Suspect in Stolen Cell Phone Picture Turns Self In

A teenager from Philadelphia who used a stolen phone to take a picture of himself didn’t realize it would be sent to the owner’s computer, and has turned himself in. Eighteen-year-old Kadeem Cook went to the authorities on Thursday night. Cook is the primary suspect in an October armed robbery case.

The victim’s cell phone, which was taken during the robbery, was programmed to send the twenty-year-old woman any pictures taken with her phone. After the robbery, she received a photo of the assailant. She released the photo to the authorities, and the gunman was identified as Cook. An arrest warrant was issued, and Cook turned himself in.
