Lawyer Suspected of Fraud has Office Searched

Federal agents spent last night searching the law offices of a relatively high-profile southern Florida attorney suspected to be part of a massive fraud scheme. A spokesperson for the law firm, Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler, said that firm officials cooperated with FBI and Internal Revenue agents during the search on Thursday morning.

The investigation was focused primarily on forty-seven-year-old attorney Scot Rothstein, who has been suspected of misappropriating several millions of dollars through legal settlement investments that could have been faked.
