Four-Year-Old Boy’s Wheelchair Stolen
A Rhode Island mother has asked the person that stole her four-year-old son’s wheelchair to return it, no questions asked. Latarcia Bonds, of Providence, told WPRI-TV that every day she brings the wheelchair, worth close to three thousand dollars, to the sidewalk in front of their home for her son’s ride to school. She then brings her son down separately.
During the few minutes she left the chair unattended, it was stolen. Bonds says that her son cannot walk or talk, and has not been able to go to school since the chair was stolen. She also says her insurance won’t pay for a new chair. The theft has been reported to police.
