Florida Man Charged with Killing Wife, Kids
A Florida man has been charged with the murder of his wife and five children by slitting their throats last month. The State Attorney’s Office in Naples announced on Wednesday that a grand jury indicted thirty-three-year-old Mesac Damas for six counts of first-degree murder.
Authorities say that Damas, a grill cook, killed his thirty-two-year-old wife and children. Their bodies were found on September 19th in the family’s house. Damas then flew to Haiti, where he was arrested, authorities say. Damas later admitted to the crimes, claiming that “bad spirits” forced him to do it. His arraignment is set for October 26th.
