Florida Man Arrested, Asked 911 Dispatcher for Sex

Florida police reported that they have arrested a man for repeatedly calling 911 and asking the dispatcher for sex. Joshua Basso, age twenty-nine, said that it was the only number he could call after his cell phone ran out of minutes. Tampa police said that the operator hung up, but that Basso called back four more times. Police arrived at his house about fifteen minutes later and arrested him.

Basso was charged with making a false 911 call. He reportedly told police that he didn’t think he would get in trouble for calling 911.
