Denver Bus Wreck Leaves 13 People Injured

A bus crash in Denver  resulted in 13 injuries, with the Bus driver among the casualties.  The accident occurred  after the bus hit a  light pole during an early morning commute. Many of the reported injuries appeared to be  minor  and included a broken nose and a concussion.  At press time, none of the injured bus passengers seems to have sustained any life threatening physical damage.

An initial investigation into the incident revealed that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel.  The driver was cited for carelessness related to drowsy driving.

The bus belonged to the Regional Transportation District which services the Denver area.
