7th Arrest in Richmond Rape Case
A seventh suspect has been arrested in connection with a recent gang rape case in Richmond, California. A fifteen-year-old girl was beaten and raped by as many as ten people outside her high-school homecoming dance two weeks ago. Richmond Police Lt. Mark Gagan reported a twenty-one-year-old man from Richmond was arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of rape, rape in concert with force, as well as other charges. He could get life in prison if convicted.
Five others have had charges filed against them in this case so far. One suspect was released because authorities said there was not enough evidence to convict him. Gagan says the police continue to look for more suspects.
